WHAT DOES JESUS SAY ABOUT PRAYER | how to pray

1. PRAYER NEEDS PRIVACY AND MUST BE CLEAR

When you pray don't do as the hypocritical religious who pray in front of the crowd with beautiful words without sincerity, multiplying nice words won't change anything. When you pray take a private and quiet place to pray to God in secret and he will reward you. Give thanks to lord jesus for the salvation, compassion, communion, glorious, devotion and for all the things for which you are happy.

When you pray don't repeat yourself uselessly, thinking like the pagans that by repetition your prayer will be answered. Don't worry, God is what you need before you even ask Him [Matthew 6:5]. Do not doubt about the power of prayer, you can also intercede for your family, for talk to god or repentance.

2. PRAYER REQUIRES PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE

Imagine that you have a friend who comes to you at midnight to ask you a favor by saying that he needs bread for another friend of his who has just returned from a long and perilous journey and that he has nothing to offer him to eat. In your heart you will surely answer "stop bothering me and let me sleep in peace, I have nothing to give you".

But I tell you the truth, even if he doesn't feel like it, he will give you food for your friend because you are important to him. That's why if you ask God for something he will give it to you, the Bible says seek and you will find, knock on his door and he will open it for you. By prayer the Spirit of prayer is here and the miracles can be done. Reed the book of psalms is the prayer book.

Here is a passage from the bible, a child asks his father a scorpion and he gives him a snake, another day the child asks him for bread and he gives him an egg. If then when you ask a man he gives you how much more God who loves you above all else will exalt you when you ask him [Luc 11:5-13].

As for persevering in prayer, Jesus told them a story when he said that in one city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect men, and here was a widow who came to him, she had a quarrel with a man and asked the judge for justice for a long time, and the judge kept her away until the day when she was fed up with bothering the judge to give her justice.

If this bad judge has done justice to her, rest assured that God the Almighty will also do justice to you [Lucas 18, 1-8]. Kingdom of God come with powerful prayer in catholic-church, in Christian groupe prayers, in family prayer, etc. The prayer is an invocation and no matter where you are the presence of god is here and the mysteries of spirit can be happen.

3. PRAY WITH HUMILITY

This is the story of two people who prayed in the temple, one was considered righteous and despised others and the other was a small peasant. During the prayer, the man who was considered righteous prayed and said to the god I thank you for this wonderful life, I thank you because I am not a criminal, nor a malefactor, nor a bandit. I, Lord, am fast once a week and I give one tenth of my income for your glory, my god.

Then the little peasant began to catch, kneeling down and not even daring to look up to heaven, and he said to my god of grace give me your forgiveness for I am a sinner.

Truly I say to you god to forgive the peasant and he did not forgive the man who despised others. Do not think you are superior to others when you pray [Lucas 18, 9-14]. Devotional prayer is important but you must not become arrogant. Prayer and intercession must be done with humility like "Lead us not into temptation ".

 4. PRAY AGAINST TEMPTATION

The disciples of Jesus asked him one day why the demons attacked us and we couldn't push them back, then Jesus said that these demons can only be driven out with the prayer [Mark 9:28, 29]. The weapons of Christianity is adoration, supplication, reverence, confession.

Jesus also told this disciple to pray against temptation when he was about to take a great moment of prayer so that their spirit would not be disturbed [Lk, 22:39-40]. Relationship with god/ Religion is the most important thing in the world be sure that no one will come to disturb you when you pray. You can make a morning prayer.

5. CONFIDENCE AND TRUST ARE IMPORTANT IN PRAYER

Jesus Christ explained the importance of being assertive when taking a parabole, Jesus said that if you tell a mountain with confidence to throw itself into the sea, it will do so. And that in prayer you must ask for something with the assurance that you have already obtained it, and you will receive it. Mark, 11:23-24.

Just ask for something in the name of Jesus and He will give it to you, but have faith. The Ministries without hope does not progress, have life of prayer no matter if you are a bishop, pastor, evangelist or disciple continue to pray.

CONFIDENCE AND TRUST ARE IMPORTANT IN PRAYER.

6.FRATERNAL PRAYER IS VERY EFFECTIVE

When you pray to forgive those who have wronged you for our Father in heaven forgive you Mk 11:25.

If you give your offering to God make sure that you do not owe anything to anyone before and that everything is problem be solved, if not back off and return only when your problem will be solved. The word of dod is clear and precise, you must walk in righteousness.

God has been very clear to those about, if you want to be forgiven of your sins you must forgive your neighbor. Everyone has to do their part, it's like it's 50/50.

7. TAKES TIME IN PRAYER

If you have ever read the bible you will have noticed that Jesus usually goes out of town to pray. In Mk 1:35 it says that Jesus went out early in the morning to pray and that he continued to pray while it was still dark.

It is important to take time for God to pray to recharge your batteries.

8. PRAY WHEN YOU ARE UNDECIDED

Jesus himself chose to be a disciple thanks to the prayer Lk 6:12-13.

It is important to put your life in God's hands and when you have an important decision to make ask God what direction you should take. He is the one who is best for you so trust Him.

9. PRAY FOR OTHERS

You surely know that there is a passage in the Bible that says love your neighbor as yourself. Be faithful, kind, loving with others is a quality.

Pray for your family, your friends and even for those who persecute you. This is how Jesus showed us the way, he came to save the sinners, it is very important to help these enemies because they are not conscious of what they are doing and if you help your friends what is your true love.
